Basic Plus - For Participants
who have not worked in Petro-Chemical Industry or who have
not attended Basic Plus. This class is an Instructor led class and is held Monday - Thursday
starting promptly at 9:00AM and Friday starting at 8:00AM
Refresher - For Participants who have completed
Basic Plus orientation. This class is computer based
and is held Monday - Thursday any time between 7:00AM - 2:00PM and Friday 7:00AM - 9:00AM
Site Specific - For participants that are entering
a particular plant, these courses cover Policy, Procedures,
Permits, Emergency Signals, Etc. for each individual plant/refinery.
Scheduling Pre-registration is required for all training. Registrations must be re-submitted if an employee fails or no-shows. Cancellations must be done by 10:00AM.
Invoicing Disciplines Fees are as follows for
sponsored Plants/Refineries:
Basic Plus or Basic Plus Refresher:
Member Companies - $5.00 per participants,
$25.00 per no show, $25.00 per failure, $25.00 per non-completion
or late arrivals.
Non-Members - $30.00 per participants, $40.00 per
no show $40.00 per failure, $40.00 per non-completion or
late arrivals
Site Specific: See Class information
form - $10.00 per no-shows or failures.
If participant is working for non-sponsored plant, fees
will vary depending on needed orientations.
UPDATE: Badge Transfers
Beginning June 1, 2000 the Contractors'
Safety Council begun charging the NON-MEMBER COMPANIES for
Basic Plus Badge Transfers. If a participant has taken Basic
Plus at another reciprocal council and he is needing a Site
Specific orientation there will be a $5.00 charge to cover
the administration cost of transferring the Basic Plus badge.
