Welcome to the Contractors’ Safety Council of Brazosport
The Contractors’ Safety Council of Brazosport (CSC) was created in an effort to
provide contractors in the Brazosport area an efficient and cost effective method
of training their personnel. CSC is a member of the Association of Reciprocal Safety
Councils (ARSC), a nationwide reciprocal organization of safety councils that accept
and transfer training data from other member councils. The primary focus of the
CSC is to provide training and the skills necessary to work safely both on and off
the job. We continually strive to improve our training methods and facilities to
meet the needs of our clients.
Training Requirements
The Brazosport Safety Council requires companies to
establish an account with the council and be in good
standing prior to registering their employees for
training. All trainees must be pre-registered and
employed by a legitimate contractor company in order
to attend training.
Social Security Verification is performed for all participants that attend any class. Make sure your employees have a current state/government photo ID with them when they check in.
Trainees need to provide the following documentation
for processing prior to training:
- Valid social security number
- Verified by CSC Brazosport
or
- Transferred from another ARSC member
Safety Council that has verified the number
- Original/legal State or U.S. government photo
identification
- State Driver’s License
- State or Federal Identification Card
- Military Identification
- U. S. Passport
Individual plants may have additional training
requirements.
